Nino explains why he decided to trial EliGrain-a on his wheat, the differences he observed throughout the season, and how these observations were confirmed at harvest. After his first experience with the product, he plans to expand its use across a much larger part of his farm.

After learning about EliGrain-a and its preventive approach to helping crops better manage water stress, Nino Studen decided to evaluate the product on a 3-hectare wheat field located next to his home. It was his first experience using EliGrain-a, allowing him to directly compare treated and untreated areas under the same growing conditions.

The first differences appeared before harvest. According to Nino, the treated wheat was taller, greener, and visibly different from the untreated part of the field, giving him confidence that the product was having a positive effect throughout the season.

These visual observations were confirmed at harvest. The treated area produced around 500 kg/ha more grain than the untreated control, in line with the results observed in local and European field trials.

Satisfied with both the crop appearance and the harvest results, Nino plans to apply EliGrain-a on around 50% of his acreage next season. For him, preparing crops before water stress occurs is becoming an increasingly valuable way to protect yield potential.
